Prof. Klaus Hesse
Design Director
Klaus Hesse, born in Elberfeld/Germany, studied photography and typography in Wuppertal, worked as art director for advertising agencies such as Ogilvy and GGK in Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf. Since 1988, designer and joint owner of Hesse Design. Professor of communication design in Dortmund and Essen 1993-1999. From 1999 to 2020 he taught Conceptual Design at the HfG Offenbach Art Academy. From 2011 to 2018 he was Dean of the Faculty of Art. Member of the Type Directors Club of New York.
Christine Hesse

Christine Hesse, born in Innsbruck/Austria, studied design management at the University of Westminster in London (MBA). She worked for film studio and advertising agencies in Munich. Since 1988 Managing Director and joint owner of Hesse Design. 1993 to 2000 lecturer for design management at the Düsseldorf FH. Member of the Design Management Institute of Boston.
Shen Tu
Art Director 2D
Shen Tu, born in Ningbo/China. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Hangzhou Normal University. He also studied at the University of Art and Design Offenbach (HfG) Graphic Design, Brand Design and Illustration. Since 2016, partner of Hesse Shanghai and Art Director.
Jiang Yi
Art Director 3D / Project Management
Jiang Yi, born in Hunan/China. She had master degrees of visual art at University of Arts London, and humanities and social sciences at Goldsmiths, University of London. Currently, she is a teacher of Shanghai Institute of Visual Art. Since 2016, partner of Hesse Shanghai.
